Sufi Vessel MKE provides supportive death doula services intended to complement—not replace—professional hospice, medical, nursing, spiritual, legal, funeral, or other professional services.
Services may include companionship, conversation, presence, emotional support, assistance with planning and organization, family support, and day-of-event support as agreed upon.
Sufi Vessel MKE does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, administer medication, provide nursing care, or make medical decisions unless separately authorized and legally permitted.
Death doula services are not emergency services.
For medical emergencies, contact appropriate emergency medical services.
Clients and families remain responsible for obtaining appropriate medical, hospice, funeral, legal, financial, and other professional assistance.
When Sufi Vessel MKE provides notarial services, such services are performed subject to applicable Wisconsin notarial laws and requirements.
A notary does not provide legal advice unless separately qualified and authorized to do so.
The notary may refuse or decline a notarization when legally required or when statutory requirements are not satisfied.
Event planning services may include planning, coordination, speaker management, vendor coordination, scheduling, logistics, day-of support, and related services.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Sufi Vessel MKE is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, or failures of third-party vendors, venues, speakers, contractors, caterers, entertainers, transportation providers, or other service providers.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information concerning event conditions, venue requirements, anticipated attendance, accessibility needs, permits, alcohol service, security, and other matters relevant to event safety.
Where applicable, clients are responsible for obtaining required venue approvals, permits, licenses, insurance, and governmental authorizations unless a written agreement expressly assigns responsibility to Sufi Vessel MKE.
Sufi Vessel MKE may refuse or discontinue participation in an event when conditions present an unreasonable safety, legal, or operational risk.
Fees will be communicated before services are provided whenever reasonably possible.
Payment terms may be established through an invoice, proposal, service agreement, booking confirmation, or other written communication.

Cancellation, rescheduling, deposit, and refund policies may vary depending upon the service purchased.
The terms stated in the applicable service agreement, invoice, booking confirmation, or event contract will control.
If no separate cancellation policy applies, Sufi Vessel MKE will make reasonable efforts to work with clients regarding rescheduling or cancellation.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to eliminate any refund, cancellation, warranty, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived under Wisconsin or applicable federal law.
