Lele Cross is a proud Pan African womxn, storyteller, educator, and community curator rooted in Milwaukee’s 53206 community. As the Owner and Curator of Sufi Vessel MKE, she creates intentional spaces that honor culture, creativity, healing, and collective growth through art, dialogue, and transformative experiences.
Her work bridges intergenerational wisdom, storytelling, and educational equity while providing services that include educational consulting, corporate and community event planning, speaker coaching, life coaching, and death doula support.
With over a decade of leadership experience in higher education and community engagement, Lele is recognized for facilitating courageous conversations around race, class, gender, disability, and belonging while advancing access and inclusion in academic and professional spaces. She has championed pathways to opportunity for historically underrepresented communities and helped create environments where diverse voices are valued and empowered all while serving as speaker coach for Creative Mornings Milwaukee Chapter.
A published author of Scabs and Scars (2019) and contributor to projects with the Wisconsin Historical Society and higher education leadership scholarship, Lele brings a deep commitment to preserving stories, amplifying lived experiences, and cultivating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported.
Through Sufi Vessel MKE, Lele combines strategy, storytelling, creativity, and care to help individuals, organizations, and communities discover their voice, navigate transitions, and create meaningful impact.
